Kids' Programs
Children are at the heart of The ZONE, so we partner with local organizations to make sure there are lots of activities to keep them busy in learning after school and during the summer. Here are some helpful tips and links to find the right program for your kiddo(s).

If You Could Save Just One offers drop-in programs for youth ages 10–18.
Manzanita House offers language classes, Women's Tea Time, legal resources, and more for refugees and immigrants.
Refugee Kids Connect is a program at Refugee & Immigrants Connections Spokane for kids ages 5–18, offering art, sports, outdoors, and academic activities.
Girl Scouts
Northeast Youth Center has several programs for kids ages 3–12, including before and after school care, camps, and transportation to and from school. Watch their video here.
KSPS offers free online and in-person resources and learning opportunities.
Northeast Youth & Family Services is open Monday–Thursday 10:00 am–2:00 pm for their clothing closet, hygiene closet, food pantry, and media center. They also offer camps and classes.
Skyhawks Rise offers several sports for kids to play throughout Spokane.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County offer after school, school break, and summer programs. With a location in Northeast Spokane, this is a great option for our residents.
Inland Northwest Youth Boxing offers scholarships to cover boxing equipment, as well as coaching and mentorship to youth interested in learning how to box.

Essential Skills is a 6-week course for women who want to go back to school or re-enter the workforce. This class teaches skills such as:
- Resume & Cover Letter Writing
- Budgeting
- Career Exploration
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- And More!
This class is usually offered in the summer, and we will help you find summer programs for your older kids. Childcare is provided for younger children.
